One of the hot topics in American politics is family immigration. Families that come here for a better life are being detained in detention centers for crossing the border illegally. Although they are coming here with good intentions, (for the most part) they are doing it illegally. If they are trying to come here for a better life they need to follow the proper procedures for entry and follow our laws.
How can I legally immigrate? Apply for an Immigrant Visa. In most cases, someone must “sponsor” you, or file an immigrant petition for you. Once the petition is approved, and there is a visa available in your category, you apply for either a Green Card or an immigrant visa. Get a medical examination. Go to an interview. You’ll then receive a decision on your application.
If you are coming here to get a better life for you(or your children's) like most illegal immigrants do, then take the proper legal procedures. So you don't get mistreated or put in a cage separated from your children. The reason you need to do this instead of crossing the boarder the illegally is because when you don't you and your children are being mistreated just like you for your mistakes, and why because you wanted a better life for your kids. The government to return all children under five years old to their parents within 14 days and within 30 days for the rest."
Don't do a crime that can result in you losing control of the situation and can get your children taken away. If you are to come here illegally than don't be surprised when your child gets taken away and is mistreated and you have no control over anything that is going to happen. If you get detained then they will take your kids away for a matter of months without you knowing were they are or seeing if their healthy.
Being a Hispanic teenager growing up in a world were any little thing can be made into a big thing over a matter of hours just comes to prove that if Hispanics that try to come over illegally will be made into a big problem and give a bad name to us citizens that took and went through the legal way to immigrate to this country.
